The Future
I am challenging myself to make my first million this year.
#1. Soleternitymusic.com will be launching in a whole new format. It will be catered specifically to the needs and requests of my clients and associates. I know what the beat connoisseur is looking for. I have now completed over 1,000 beat sales via the internet, ranging from the purchase of the exclusive rights of 15 beats at one time for $25,000, to demo licensing one beat for $15. And I have done hundreds more locally, including major labels such as Jive Records. From the up&comer to the industry veteran, I will work with you. I am not caught up in status, titles, groupies, or wealth. I am about making hit records. Almost every rich artist started broke. I’m about putting platinum plaques on the wall. I know my people recognize this and that is why we do great business to this day. Wait until the new website is ready by the end of the year!!
#2. The beats are unstoppable. I have been studying music from coast to coast since June ‘04. From Atlanta to Miami To Vegas to Chicago to LA. I have honed a sound and have diversified my range. I have studied the art of mixing and the art of production, not only from the aspect of successful radio and club records, but also the common bonds between classic albums and classic underground music. I am focused on making timeless hits with artists. We are in the digital era of singles outperforming albums. The “single” is the desired format to release new music in. It works well with the internet market, but more importantly it works well with the club & radio market, which don’t want 60 minutes of music, they want 3-4 minutes of music. I study the components of successful records night and day. Not so much the technical side, but the similarities that all hits from a time period share, which generally relate moreso to culture, lifestyle and social climate than instrument selection or tempo. It is our job as producers to create music that represents the current social climate. This is what Soleternity is all about.
#3. Compilations. I am working on numerous compilations coming out, the first being the long-overdue Soleternity Compilation Volume 1. I have yet to really put out a compilation. I have released a few remix CDs, but nothing with a cover, exclusive music, and a movement behind it. I am reaching out to my associates at the highest levels to collaborate with me on this mixtape and to make classic music.
#4. Global Network. Resources. As a networker, I meet everybody, not just artists. I own, co-own, or participate in a number of very active communities and businesses, including Soleternity Productions, Streets To The Suites Entertainment Global Network, Last Stand Music Group, Instrumentally Sick Productions, and many more. Look out for these names in all realms of the music business.
